History

The Flowserve corporation was officially established in 1997, but its roots in the flow management industry date back to the 18th Century. What started as Simpson & Thompson grew and evolve over the last 220-plus years with different mergers and acquisitions to become what it is today. With many different heritage brands and sister companies in partnership, its easy to see how Flowserve has become such a recognized leader.

PUMPS

Overhung Pumps

An overhung pump has an impeller mounted on the end of the shaft. It is cantilevered (in other words, “overhung”) from its bearing supports. Flowserve offers many different models of overhung pumps suitable for the following industries:

Between Bearings Pumps

On these pumps from Flowserve, the impeller is mounted on a shaft designed with bearings at both ends. Therefore, the impeller is mounted between bearings in the following styles:
