History
Griffco started in 1993 and has built a strong name for itself throughout the pump and pump accessory industry. Their home office is located in Amherst, New York and they are proud to manufacture all their products in the United States.

Pressure Relief Valves (Safety or Bypass Valves)
When the pressure goes beyond a preset value, these pressure relief valves open to safely discharge the pressure into a separate reservoir. Griffco pressure relief valves are designed to protect your valuable capital equipment (pumps, systems and tanks) from wear and tear, or even worse, major breakdowns. They ensure all ancillary devices function properly. Griffco pressure relief valves are available in a wide range of sizes and flow rates. Custom-engineered valves can also be ordered per your specifications.

Back Pressure Valves (Loading Valves)
When you need to stabilize downstream pressure from a pump, you need a back pressure valve to help maintain a consistent output rate. Minimum constant pressure is applied for stable operation and accurate flow rates on many reciprocating metering/closing pumps and other certain types of pumps. Griffco back pressure valves work with all major pump brands and custom solutions are available for specialty pumps.

Check Valves
By operating only in one direction, check valves are normally closed. Then, when the liquid passes through it, the valve automatically seals back up and prevents any reverse flow. Griffco check valves are manufactured with ball checks with high sphericity. This ensures a proper seal and no leakage.
Anti-Siphon Valves
With a different function than check valves, anti-siphon valves are designed to make sure liquids drain or empty by using the Venturi effect (siphoning). Suction is applied and the valve prevents liquid from flowing when upstream pressure stops.
Calibration Columns (Calibration Cylinders)
A calibration column is typically connected at the inlet of the pump. It contains a shutoff valve between the column and the tank, which provides isolation between elements in the system. Once the calibration column is full, the valve that leads to the tank is closed and then the pump can start drawing the fluid down. Griffco calibration columns are carefully engineered for high tolerances and precise graduations. This results in incredible accuracy. When it comes to calibration columns, Griffco offers more options and ranges than any other competitor.
Injection Valves (Injection Quills)
Injection valves and quills allow for the passage of liquid from a feed line into the center of a process line. However, an injection valve comes with an additional feature, which is the integral check valve. It keeps the liquids separated at the mating interface. Griffco makes superior injection valves that each come standard with integral check valves. Griffco injection valves are available in many different styles suitable for a variety of applications.
Corporation Stops
A corporation stop is similar to an injection valve, but it contains even more features. They include a shutoff valve and the injector can be removed without turning off the process flow. The quill can safely be removed once the shutoff valve is closed. Griffco corporation stops utilize all these components—and more—to produce exceptional results. They offer universal connection options along with inherent injection valve designs.

Griffco manufactures instrument isolators and diaphragm gauges to improve the performance of chemical feed systems by protecting instruments from chemical attack.
Pulsation Dampeners

Y-Strainers
When you add a Y-Striner to the suction side of a chemical feed pump, it helps prevent debris from entering. This prevents clogging and potential damage to the inside of the pump head.
