Pitbull designs innovative pumps that offer a simple solution to some of the most difficult pumping applications. Their pumps utilize two check valves and a hollow chamber to fill and discharge a combination of solids and liquids. No matter the combination, any form of liquid/solid combination is able to flow through the pump’s wide open inlet.
Unlike conventional pumps, the Pitbull is automatic. This means it can match the cycle rate with the inflow rate and will then shut itself off when the flow stops, all without the use of level controls. The motive force in Pitbull pumps is compressive air that acts directly on the liquid to eliminate the necessity for diaphragms or seals. The use of an all-pneumatic operation will eliminate shock hazards, is suitable for explosion-proof areas, and simplifies installation.
Pitbull pumps are reliable to work through your toughest applications. Even where other pumps would fail, the complete line of Pitbull pumps will work hard and strong to complete the job. Their full line of pumps includes submersible pumps, filter-press feed pumps, condensate return pumps, and sludge transfer pumps. They are strong enough to handle flows from 2 gpm to 2,000 gpm with discharge pressures up to 125 psi. In addition, the Pitbull pump is able to pump any kind of solids, abrasives, or trash, and they all easily flow through the full pipe diameter at low internal velocities.
This unique pump is free of impellers, seals, motors, and diaphragms, and allows your system to require very little maintenance in situations where a conventional pump would. If fact, the only moving parts of the pump that ever comes into contact with liquid are the two check valves. This will save you time and money on repairs that would be required on a conventional pump.
