Cortech Engineering is seeking a temporary Purchasing Agent to join its growing family. This position is expected to be 30-40 hours per week through February, 2015. Please note that this is not a contract position and that the hours and duration of the assignment may be adjusted or suspended at any time. - Major Job Functions, Objectives, and Key Performance Indicators
• Review customer Purchase Orders for accuracy against quotations
• Create Sales Orders within Quickbooks based on submitted quotations and customer Purchase Orders
• Revise Sales Orders when new costing information or change orders are received
• Create provisional Purchase Orders based on demand
• General filing and clerical duties
• Other duties as assigned
- Experience/Training/Education
• Two to five years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer Skills
• Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise (Purchase Order and Sales Order Functions): Intermediate
• Microsoft Excel: Intermediate
• Microsoft Word: Intermediate
• Microsoft Outlook: Intermediate
• Typing Speed: 55 wpm
