Position: Shipping and Receiving Associate
Department: Shipping and Receiving
Reports to: Office Manager
Supervises: None
Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Job Description
Major Job Functions
•	Create and catalog outbound shipments (parcel and LTL)
•	Maintain accuracy and organization of the warehouse and inventory areas
•	Perform cycle counts of product stock
•	Receive inbound shipments and make note of any exceptions
•	Deliver items to customer sites as needed
•	Pick up items from vendors as needed
•	Occasional light mechanical duties such as installation of plastic pipe fittings
•	Other responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
•	Must be willing and able to complete drug screening; this position may be subject to random drug testing
•	Must be willing and able to submit to a background verification
•	Must have a reliable mode of transportation
•	Must be able to operate a forklift (OSHA certification preferred)
•	Must possess a valid California driver’s license; a clean driving record is required and must be maintained
•	Must be willing and able to regularly lift up to 60 pounds
•	Must be willing and able to participate in ongoing safety training
•	Additional hours may be required on occasion

•	Travel: < 5% out-of-town travel and 30-40% local travel is expected as occasional driving to local sites or shipping distribution centers may be required
