Some of Cornell’s most popular pumps, the STX Pumps, are now available in CD4MCu. This material allows the pumps to be even more corrosive and abrasion resistant. While the pumps were superior in quality and efficiency before, they just got even better.
CD4MDu offers many benefits over traditional materials including resistance to pitting and corrosion. For tough applications, this can be invaluable, especially coupled with its improved weldability and ductility. The hydro transport pumps in this series are also available in 304 food grade stainless steel, making it cheaper but stronger. This construction gives it a Brinell Hardness rating of up to 285. The new Cornell STX Pump is stronger and more resistant to any type of wear than ever.
In addition, all STX Pumps feature these elements:
- Cormell Cycloseal Sealing System
- Drop-in Replacement
- Cornell Pump Five-Year Warranty
- Oversized Oil Reservoir
- High-Efficiency Design
- High RPM Capacity
Instead of using the more common 316 stainless steel, Cornell has improved the hydro transport pumps to be manufactured with 304 stainless steel. The reason for doing this is to make the pumps more corrosion resistant, less expensive than those made with 316 stainless steel, stronger than cast iron, and allowable for use in the food industry. This set of pumps comes with a two-year warranty and many of the same features as the other STX Pumps. Some of which include:
- Patented oversized, offset volute
- Elimination of product contamination
- No volute cutwater
- Low cost repair
The new STX Pumps are now available and ready to order through Cortech. Give us a call today to order and learn more about the many pumps Cornell offers to help make all of your applications run smoothly and efficiently.
