Ampco Company History
The beginning of Ampco dates back over 100 years when they got started in the metals industry. Roughly 70 years ago, Ampco began manufacturing pumps and have since become one of the world’s premier pump manufacturers. The company is based in Wisconsin, but has an assembly plant in Germany and authorized repair providers throughout the United States.
Though the company has a very rich industrial history, things have really evolved in the past 20 years. In 1995, Ampco shifted their focus towards sanitary pumps and accessories, which has really enabled them to grow leaps and bounds. At Cortech Engineering, we often recommend Ampco to any companies looking for food and beverage sanitation pumps.
